A Welcoming Place for All Children

Stepping Stones Children's Center, Inc. is a private, non-profit organization whose mission is the total development of children. We are committed to providing high quality education and child care in an environment that fosters positive relationships among our children, staff, families, and the community we serve.

At Stepping Stones our children experience a loving and supportive environment made possible by our well qualified and caring staff. Many of our staff are parents and grandparents and all are able to recognize, understand, and provide the highest level of care to our children. Our staff dedicate their time to professional development in the field of Education through trainings and workshops in addition to meeting the high training standards set by NAEYC and Keystone STARS. All lead teachers have the minimum of an associates degree and all Site Directors have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in education or related field.  Their time and expertise is dedicated to the growth and development of our children, resulting in a very high return rate of our families and very low staff turnover. You will feel the family atmosphere when you enter our doors.

Our bylaws stipulate that the majority of our Board members be the parents of children enrolled in our programs. It’s a great formula for keeping everybody’s children our top priority… but we need parents to make it work. Stepping Stones is an incredibly diverse organization with many business, financial, marketing, and regulatory needs. We also welcome the love, care, and consideration that parents provide. Please contact board@stepstonescc.org to learn how you might be considered for any future Board openings.
